JSE responds to inquiries, consults and advises its members on the interpretation of shipping contract clauses, maritime economy, and Japanese shipping policies and so on. JSE can help you find a way out of your dispute. The first step is consultation.
ARBITRATION AND CONCILIATION
JSE is involved in every aspect of maritime business. TOMAC is thus uniquely capable of dealing with arbitrations involving problems arising in the field. TOMAC resolves disputes arising under bills of lading,charterparties, contracts relating to the sale and purchase of ships, shipbuilding, ship financing, manning and so forth.

PROMULGATING MARITIME CONTRACT FORMS
The Documentary Committee of JSE has been working to draft and promulgate standard contract forms such as Nanyozai Charter Party, Iron Ore Charter Party, Memorandum of Agreement (for sale of a ship), Towage Contract.
